POSITION SUMMARY: Entry-level, seasonal position capable of operating departmental equipment necessary in the production and/or packaging of quality pumpkin; and abiding by GMP and Safety rules. Specific duties and machinery required to operate will vary per department.

The approximate hourly pay for this position is $16.85. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:  Capable of meeting or exceeding designated efficiency and productivity rates.  Ability to differentiate between the acceptable and unacceptable quality of raw, semi-finished, and finished materials.  Ability to accurately fill out paperwork. For example, the employee must be able to document the start time of running the product and initial temperature.  Ability to perform and rotate each of the positions on the assigned line and able to lift up to 50lbs. Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems, make basic repairs, and document adjustments as needed. Willing to assist other employees and departments as needed. Willing to cross-train on other production line equipment and positions. Ability to work 12-hour shifts, 6 days a week as well as weekends. Willing to work in a seasonal environment that will be a temporary assignment of about 2-4 months. Able to work weekends, holidays, and including the potential for nights. Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions. Willing to perform other duties as assigned.EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED is desired. Two or more year's prior experience operating production equipment is preferred. Strong understanding of equipment troubleshooting and repair. Ability to operate a forklift if needed. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Possess basic computer knowledge.
