Job description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Accountant to join our accounting team. This position is ideal for recent graduates or individuals early in their accounting careers who are eager to apply their education in a practical setting. This Accountant will assist with financial reporting, data entry, account reconciliation, and other essential accounting functions.
This position is mainly in-person, but occasional remote working may be acceptable.
This is a full-time position with normal first shift work hours.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the preparation and processing of invoices, accounts payable, and employee expense reports
  • Process weekly employee timesheet data
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of employee payroll
  • Enter and maintain accurate financial records in accounting systems
  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Support internal audits and financial reporting activities
  • Help maintain organized documentation and filing systems
  • Collaborate with team members to support accounting and administrative projects
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with accounting software is a plus (such as NetSuite, MS Dynamics, or similar)
