Job description

Job Title: QA Tester
Job Description:
  • Review product requirements, identify potential defects/risks, and develop test plans;
  • Develop and execute test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test strategy for web-based UI products and data intensive processes;
  • Develop automated tests for functionalities using Playwright automation tool using Typescript for frontend and backend;
  • Develop documentation for defects/ risks reporting in order to support product development and testing; and
  • Develop frequent tests after new product releases, upgrades, or maintenance.

Minimum Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or foreign equivalent) and
  • Three (3) years of experience in the job offered, or a Software Engineer, Quality Assurance Engineer, related occupation.

Special Requirements:
Must have any academic training or experience in the following:
  1. Automation using Selenium, Cypress UI, Rest Assured or similar tools for Web/API testing;
  2. JavaScript for automation;
  3. API Testing using Postman;
  4. BDD, TDD, and hybrid test automation framework;
  5. Test management using Jira or similar tool; and
  6. Writing SQL queries for manual and automation testing.

*Telecommuting is permitted within commuting distance from office.
