As an Accounting Associate, you will play a foundational role in our finance department, responsible for accurate data entry and the initial preparation of key financial documents. Company:Cherokee Nation Entertainment

  • High School Diploma or equivalent. This is an entry-level position with little to no previous work experience required. 

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).  

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.  

  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.  

  • Demonstrated ability for advanced process improvement. 

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority. 

  • Accurately enter journal entries into the general ledger system. 

  • Prepare various accounting statements and financial reports as required. 

  • Work effectively under general supervision to complete assigned tasks. 

  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the accounting department.
