Job description


Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, Tulsa, is seeking a Player Services Cashier to play a vital role in providing a positive and enjoyable gaming experience for guests. This position involves handling a variety of financial transactions, promoting the casino's rewards program, and ensuring guest satisfaction. THIS POSITION REQUIRES WEEKENDS, HOLIDAYS AND POTENTIAL OVERNIGHTS.
Responsibilities
  • Process a wide range of cash and non-cash transactions for guests, including chip issuance and redemption, currency exchanges, and check cashing.

  • Promote and explain rewards program benefits, on-going promotions, and other relevant information to guests.

  • Enroll guests into the rewards program and issue membership cards.

  • Conduct entry-level player evaluations and make outbound calls as needed.

  • Verify and distribute payments for jackpots and special payouts.

  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions.

  • Handle guest requests, disputes, and complaints professionally.

  • Safeguard company assets and reconcile daily transactions.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • One year of cash handling or customer service experience preferred.

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to perform basic mathematical computations accurately.

  • Knowledge of casino games and property amenities.

  • Ability to learn and explain gaming promotions.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and often demanding environment.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

  • Ability to work in a casino environment, which may include exposure to second-hand smoke and crowd noise.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority.

  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
