• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to understand their mental health concerns, providing detailed clinical diagnoses and developing tailored treatment plans.
• Deliver individual, couple, family, and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or solution-focused therapy, ensuring that treatments resonate with each client's needs and goals.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention for clients in acute distress, utilizing appropriate de-escalation and management techniques.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and assessment results, adhering to all ethical and legal standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams – including psychiatrists, social workers, and community resources – to ensure comprehensive care for clients, enhancing their treatment experience and outcomes.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, empowering them with knowledge regarding treatment options and available community resources while advocating for their rights and needs.
• Engage in continuous professional development through ongoing training, workshops, and participation in or contribution to research and best practice discussions.
