JOB SUMMARY:

Our synergetic EthosPLUS team is seeking a full-time SFO Editor (REMOTE) to review investigative reports to ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance with client-specific requirements. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the quality and professionalism of reports by identifying errors, resolving inconsistencies, and collaborating with investigators to clarify facts as needed. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail, excellent writing skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review investigative reports submitted by field investigators for accuracy, completeness, grammar, and professional tone.
  • Reviews surveillance video obtained by field investigators and describes in detail all relevant activity performed by claimants, with an eye towards conciseness, clarity, and ease of reading.
  • Identify and address inconsistencies or missing information within reports.
  • Communicate with investigators to clarify facts and resolve report discrepancies.
  • Ensure reports meet all client-specific criteria and special instructions.
  • Provide constructive feedback to investigators to support continuous improvement in report writing.
  • Assist with special projects as needed, including newsletters, marketing materials, or cross-department initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in English, Journalism, Communications or a related field (preferred).

Experience:

  • Prior experience editing, proofreading, or reviewing written reports (preferred).
  • Experience working with deadlines in a professional or operational environment(preferred).

Skills:

  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting strict deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally with investigators and management.
  • High level of self-motivation and accountability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and general office software.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This role is 100% remote and requires working hours from 8:00AM to 5:00PM. This role requires a dedicated workspace with reliable internet. The role involves prolonged periods of sitting, operating a computer, and communicating via phone and email.
