Baer is looking for MSFT Project Planner for SAP for a 12+ month remote project.
Title: MSFT Project Planner for SAP
Location: Remote (Must be based in US) - Limited travel may be required.
Duration: 12 months
Rate: All-Inclusive
Alignment: W2 or C2C
Overview
We are looking for an experienced MSFT Project Planner with SAP experience to support a large SAP transformation project. The successful candidate will develop, maintain, and manage integrated project schedules across the SAP implementation lifecycle, ensuring project activities are completed on time and aligned with business objectives.
Description:
  • Develop and maintain integrated SAP project schedules using Microsoft Project.
  • Update work breakdown structures (WBS), milestones, dependencies, and critical paths.
  • Coordinate with project managers and workstream leads to gather schedule updates, resource needs, and project status.
  • Translate project roadmaps into detailed, resource-loaded project plans.
  • Monitor project progress, identify schedule risks, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Prepare and present project schedule updates, dashboards, and milestone reports to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate schedule review meetings and ensure timely updates from all project teams.
  • Maintain RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies) logs aligned with the project schedule.
  • Ensure project plans comply with PMO standards and the SAP Activate methodology.
  • Maintain version-controlled project documentation and support project closeout activities.

Requirements:
  • Experience planning and scheduling SAP implementation or migration projects.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Project.
  • Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology and project management best practices.
  • Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and complex project schedules.
  • PMP certification preferred.
