Job description

As an early hire to our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing Loxo’s data integration function. You will be primarily responsible for migrating new clients’ legacy data from their previous recruitment platform to Loxo and will work closely with the Customer Success team to deliver a positive onboarding experience for all new Loxo users. You will also be working on many data engineering projects across the data team, as we invest heavily in our data engineers to contribute and grow professionally to become incredible data engineers over time.


You will be tasked with managing the entire migration process from beginning to end, including defining strategies, developing repeatable and scalable solutions, and delivering world-class support. You will play an important role in setting the tone for our customers’ Loxo experience.


We’re looking for someone who can...

  • Work with data owners to understand legacy data, gather data requirements, and interpret and design solutions to meet those requirements
  • Produce detailed data mapping documents
  • Develop and implement tools, scripts, queries or applications for accessing, analyzing, converting and migrating data between databases or from csv files to databases
  • Reverse engineer data models from other vendors
  • Troubleshoot data quality issues and write scripts to cleanse data
  • Maintain the security, data integrity, and availability of data in production environments
  • Partner with the Customer Success team to proactively manage client expectations, communicate timelines, and solve customer database issues
  • Serve as the technical point of contact during the migration process
