Job description

OGC is a boutique research and consulting agency specializing in data-driven strategy, quantitative analytics, and Customer Experience (CX) program design and optimization. We partner with some of the world's leading organizations across Financial Services, Specialty Retail, Telecommunications, Hospitality, and Software, helping them gain a deeper understanding of their customers, translate research into actionable insights, and improve business processes and customer experiences.
One of our leading telecommunications clients is seeking an adaptable, detail-oriented Market Research Analyst to join our team during an upcoming high-volume period. In this role, you will serve as a key operational bridge between our Operations, Research, and UX teams, helping to coordinate research activities, support project execution, and ensure that insights and deliverables move efficiently from research through to implementation.
This position is ideal for an "all-around player" who understands the nuances of primary and secondary research, excels at data evaluation, and feels comfortable navigating CX and research platforms. You will manage daily research work streams, validate survey data, and ensure seamless cross-functional execution across projects. This position is for 6 Months with potential extension based on workload demands.
Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Bridge: Serve as a central liaison connecting Operations, UX, and Research teams to align project goals and streamline workflows.
  • Workstream & Data Management: Execute daily research workstreams, pull routine dataset reports, and validate survey and data outputs using Excel and internal tools.
  • Cross-Functional Multitasking: Manage competing priorities and switch gears smoothly between different research and operations tasks during high-volume periods.
  • Data Quality & Reporting: Review data critically to ensure accuracy, synthesize findings into clear reports, and share actionable, logical recommendations with stakeholders.

  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience in an analyst role spanning research operations, CX, market research, or UX data validation.
  • Research Fundamentals: Strong practical knowledge of primary and secondary research methodologies, survey design, and UX research principles.
  • Advanced Excel & Tool Proficiency: Expert-level skills in Microsoft Excel (data cleanup, formatting, pivot tables, formulas). Comfort learning and navigating enterprise research and CX platforms without requiring programming or software development skills.
  • Cross-Functional Communication: Clear, articulate verbal and written communication skills with a knack for presenting dataset insights to diverse teams.
  • Project Management & Adaptability: Outstanding organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Background in Market Research, Customer Experience (CX), or Community Insights Operations (advantageous).
  • Experience executing research initiatives or managing tasks within online community platforms or large enterprise environments (advantageous).
