• Evaluate and diagnose a wide range of psychosocial problems using individual clinical social work skills, assisting patients and families in overcoming personal and environmental challenges attributed to mental and physical illness.
• Adhere to professional standards of social work practice according to the NASW Code of Ethics, ensuring ethical considerations are integrated into every aspect of care.
• Conduct comprehensive bio-psychosocial evaluations to identify barriers to treatment, thereby optimizing patient discharge planning and enhancing overall health outcomes.
• Collaborate with medical and support staff to provide comprehensive care, sharing insights on patients' psychosocial functioning and advocacy needs to facilitate effective treatment programs.
• Develop and implement treatment plans featuring a combination of individual and group therapies, monitoring treatment effectiveness and making adjustments as necessary to maximize health outcomes.
• Document social work activities accurately in patients' medical records, ensuring compliance with departmental standards.
• Educate patients and families on medical and social work recommendations to facilitate their understanding and adherence to treatment goals.
• Assess and coordinate community resources to meet patients' advocacy needs, focusing on enhancing social support systems and community engagement.
• Maintain case-related statistics and prepare reports following departmental guidelines, contributing to the continuous improvement of departmental practices.
• Stay updated on community resources available for patients and participate in training sessions to further develop your clinical expertise.

The patients you'll work with at our Detox Center are often in crisis, requiring immediate and empathetic support. You will focus on individuals experiencing mental health challenges related to substance use, anxiety, depression, and other stressors. Your role will be vital in executing interventions that facilitate recovery and enhance the quality of life for those you serve. By employing a strengths-based approach, you will empower clients to navigate their journey to mental wellness and regain their autonomy.

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited graduate program is required.
• A current license from the State Board of Social Work Licensure, specifically at the Licensed Clinical Social Work (LCSW) level.
• Demonstrated knowledge of human development stages and cultural competencies that inform your approach to care.

• At least 1 year of clinical experience, preferably in a health or mental health setting focused on the populations served by our Detox Center.
• Prior experience in developing and implementing treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams is advantageous.
