• Conduct thorough assessments to identify the mental health needs of clients, formulate appropriate clinical diagnoses, and create tailored treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, group, and family therapy, focusing on each client’s unique goals and circumstances.
• Respond to acute mental health crises by providing crisis intervention and support, ensuring clients receive timely assistance and safety planning.
• Maintain comprehensive and confidential client records, documenting treatment plans, progress notes, and assessment data, in adherence to legal and ethical standards.
• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and comprehensive care approaches for clients.
• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families regarding mental health issues, treatment options, and available community resources, advocating for their rights and needs.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training to stay updated with the latest best practices in mental health therapy.

You will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. Our clients come from various backgrounds, and it is essential to approach each person with cultural sensitivity and understanding. • Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW) in the state of California.
• A Bachelor’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field is required; a Master's or Doctoral degree is preferred.
• Proven clinical assessment and diagnostic skills with a minimum of two years of related experience in mental health counseling.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that facilitate rapport building with clients.
• A demonstrated ability to work both independently and as an integral member of a collaborative team.
• A strong commitment to ethical practices and maintaining client confidentiality.

• Experience in a clinical setting is preferred, but we welcome entry-level candidates with relevant qualifications to apply.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual counseling methodologies.
• Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Solution-Focused Therapy.

Silver Lake Behavioral Health Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 85,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications, along with a sign-on bonus.
