Position: Bilingual German STEM Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $38–$43/hour
Location: Remote
Duration: 3–6 months
Commitment: 20+ hours/week

Role Responsibilities

  • Design and optimize STEM-based prompts in German and English with scientific accuracy and clarity.
  • Define and document evaluation standards with comprehensive rubrics for scientific rigor and linguistic clarity.
  • Conduct model testing and grading to assess outputs for scientific accuracy and reasoning quality.
  • Support benchmarking and quality assurance to ensure consistency and reliability across German-language benchmarks.
  • Collaborate in QA review processes to maintain scientific standards and integration into evaluation sets.
  • Work independently to meet deadlines and improve AI model performance.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Native-level fluency in German (written), specifically native to Switzerland (German-speaking), Germany, or Austria.
  • Strong reading and writing proficiency in English.
  • BS or BA in Biology, Physics, or Chemistry.
  • Familiarity with undergraduate-level biology, physics, or chemistry topics.
