Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough and compassionate assessments to evaluate clients' mental health issues, crafting accurate clinical diagnoses and personalized treatment plans.
  • Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused techniques to achieve therapeutic goals.
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention for clients experiencing acute mental health emergencies, ensuring safety and appropriate follow-up support.
  • Maintain detailed and confidential client records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and assessments, in compliance with HIPAA standards and ethical guidelines.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate holistic care approaches, ensuring comprehensive support for clients.
  • Educate clients and their families about mental health, well-being, and available community resources, advocating for their rights and needs throughout the therapeutic process.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development, staying abreast of the latest evidence-based practices and mental health research through workshops and training opportunities.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve a diverse population of clients facing a range of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your ability to create a safe and non-judgmental environment will be crucial in building trust and rapport, facilitating open communication, and promoting positive therapeutic outcomes.

Qualifications
  • Must be a licensed mental health practitioner, holding LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW credentials.
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is required.
  • Demonstrated clinical assessment and diagnostic capabilities are essential.
  • At least two years of relevant clinical experience, preferably within a community or outpatient setting.
