Key Responsibilities
  • Your primary responsibility will be to manage a caseload of clients, establishing positive rapport and maintaining professional boundaries that foster a productive therapeutic relationship.
  • You will conduct regular meetings with clients to assess their progress, discuss upcoming appointments, and determine appropriate discharge plans when necessary.
  • In collaboration with clients, you will develop and implement personalized treatment plans, ensuring that they are monitored and modified as needed to reflect client progress and changing needs.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation and progress notes for each client will be essential, contributing to seamless care continuity.
  • You will be responsible for conducting intake assessments to evaluate the mental health needs of new clients and provide them with appropriate service recommendations.
  • Engaging in weekly individual sessions and supervision will be part of your routine to ensure personal and professional growth.
  • Collaboration with other healthcare providers and participation in team meetings will be integral to offering holistic care to our clients.
  • You will maintain a commitment to personal and professional growth by adopting a growth mindset in all aspects of your work.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working with a diverse outpatient population which includes adults, children, and families. Our clients often come to us with a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. You will be responsible for tailoring therapeutic interventions to meet their unique needs, enhancing their journey towards improved mental health.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field is required.
  • You must possess an active and unrestricted Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.
  • At least three years of relevant clinical outpatient experience post-graduation is essential.
  • Technical proficiency is necessary; experience with computers, including Excel, RMS systems, Outlook, and PIMSY, is preferred.
  • You should have a solid background in providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families, enhancing their mental health and coping mechanisms.
  • Comfort and experience with completing intake assessments are critical for effective client onboarding.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working within a community health clinic or similar setting is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities and community mental health resources will be advantageous.
  • Any additional certifications in specific therapeutic approaches will be considered a plus.
