Medical Receptionist / Medical Office Administrative Assistant
Colchester Area, CT | Direct Hire | $18–$22 per hour | 2 Openings

Do you have experience working in a medical office in a receptionist or administrative support role? A.R. Mazzotta has two direct-hire openings for experienced medical office professionals in the Colchester area.

These are not entry-level receptionist positions. We are looking for candidates who understand the day-to-day flow of a medical office and are comfortable working directly with patients, providers, and office staff.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Welcome and assist patients in a professional and friendly manner
  • Answer a busy multi-line phone system
  • Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments
  • Check patients in and out
  • Update and maintain accurate patient information
  • Collect copays and assist with insurance-related information
  • Work with electronic medical records and other office systems
  • Handle administrative and clerical responsibilities in support of the medical office
  • Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and staff
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information
