In-House Commercial Real Estate Attorney (Part-Time / Hybrid)Latitude is partnering with an organization needing part-time help with reviewing leases and ongoing management of a portfolio of medical real estate assets. We are seeking a commercial real estate attorney, preferably with Big Law experience, for a flexible, part-time opportunity. In this role, you will support acquisitions, asset management, and other real estate portfolio operations. This is a part-time, as-needed contract position with the potential for increased hours and responsibility over time. The role is hybrid and based in Nashville, TN.Basic Requirements for the In-House Commercial Real Estate Attorney:7+ years of high-dollar commercial real estate experience or M&A with real estate acquisition experienceStrong experience handling due diligence in commercial real estate acquisitionsFamiliarity with commercial real estate asset management, including prior experience working with commercial real estate leasesProficient in Excel and technologically savvy, with an interest in leveraging tools to improve efficiency and insightHighly intellectually curious, with a proactive and collaborative approachJ.D. from an accredited law school and licensed to practice law in Tennessee (or eligible for in-house exemption)Position Details of the In-House Commercial Real Estate Attorney:Type of role: Contract EngagementSchedule: Part-timeLocation: Hybrid (Nashville, TN)Compensation:Pay: The annualized pay for this position ranges from $200,000 to $250,000 when calculated on a full-time basis. Pay for contract engagements is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference (each candidate’s pay rate affects the client bill rate which can affect the candidate’s competitiveness for the position).Benefits: In addition to pay, all Latitude attorneys and other legal professionals working on contract engagements receive complimentary professional liability insurance coverage for work or acts or omissions provided within the scope of a Latitude-authorized engagement. All Latitude employees (including those on contract engagements) are also eligible for full benefits when working 20+ hours per week, including group medical, dental, and vision insurance, and complimentary group life, LTD and AD&D insurance. A qualified 401k plan is also available.
