What You'll Do as a Licensed Veterinary Technician
Surgical & Anesthesia Expertise
  • Prepare patients for surgery using aseptic and sterile techniques
  • Induce, monitor, and recover patients under anesthesia with a high level of accuracy and vigilance
  • Monitor vital parameters and adjust anesthetic protocols as directed
  • Ensure safe, efficient surgical flow and maintain a sterile surgical suite

Clinical & Technical Skills
  • Perform phlebotomy, IV catheter placement, radiology, and in-house diagnostics
  • Administer medications via oral, subcutaneous, and intravenous routes
  • Accurately document treatments, anesthesia logs, and patient records

Patient Care & Advocacy
  • Provide attentive monitoring of pre-op and post-op patients
  • Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition quickly and effectively
  • Deliver compassionate, low-stress handling and care

Collaboration & Communication
  • Partner closely with veterinarians and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Communicate clearly with clients regarding post-operative care and discharge instructions
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked treatment and surgical environment

What We're Looking For:
  • Active Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) in the state of Georgia
  • Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program
  • Successful completion of the VTNE
  • 2+ years of hands-on clinical experience, with a strong emphasis on surgery and anesthesia
  • Advanced proficiency in anesthesia monitoring and surgical support
  • Confidence working independently in a high-volume surgical setting
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety and gold-standard care
  • Ability to remain calm, focused, and efficient under pressure
