Job description

JOB SUMMARY

This position is for an Imaging Technologist II whose responsibility is to provide direct patient care related to Imaging services, in accordance with accreditation standards, federal, state, and local regulations, organizational and departmental policies and procedures and professional standards. Provides safe and efficient imaging to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient populations.  Responsible for the supervision of professional or skilled personnel.  The position reports to the Supervisor/Director of Imaging Services. 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum level of Education: Education level equivalent to completion of a two year radiology technology program required.

Formal Training:  preferred to be able to operate the following imaging services machines proficiently within three months of employment: Portable X-ray Machines, C-Arm, and PACS system. 

Licensure, Certifications & Registration:  Must possess American Registered Radiologic Technologist status. Current BLS Certification required.

Work Experience: Radiology and CT clinical competency.
