Job description

Salary: $67,640DESCRIPTION/JOB SUMMARY

Support customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance by assisting in the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality systems focusing on continuous improvement, non-conformance resolution, and cross-functional collaboration within a manufacturing environment

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

•Assist in developing and implementing quality systems to ensure company objectives are met, with a focus on continuous improvement

•Support execution of quality processes including supplier qualification, process validation, new product launches, surveillance and control, CAPA verification, warranty analysis, and Engineering Change Requests (ECRs)

•Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Purchasing, Distribution Centers (DCs), and Product Quality Engineers to improve quality processes and efficiencies

•Collect, analyze, and report process, product, and supplier performance data using established metrics

•Support supplier evaluation and improvement activities, including data analysis and corrective action follow-up

•Assist with quality improvement initiatives using recognized tools such as DMAIC, PPAP, COPQ, FMEA, and 8D

•Apply basic statistical methods to support process analysis and improvement efforts

•Work with internal and external customers to support corrective and preventive actions and reduce customer complaints and returns

•Support quality readiness for new product launches by ensuring required procedures and documentation are in place

•Closely monitor all new product launches ensuring all quality disciplines/procedures are in place, while meeting corporate quality objectives and promoting corporate wide quality culture

•Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management

•Complete the annual CTPAT Security Training

•Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment

•Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations

•Pride retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary

REQUIRED SKILLS

Must be:

•A team player, friendly, professional, detail-oriented, and honest

•A change agent and champion for continuous quality improvement

Must have the ability to:

•Multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize in a fast-paced working environment

•Plan, develop, and execute tactical and strategic quality initiatives

•Foster cross-functional relationships that promote cooperation and consensus decision making

•Travel up to 10% of the time internationally as business needs dictate

•Lift/push/pull up to 40lbs.

Must have:

•Relentless drive to achieve advancement and continuous improvement

•Strong organizational skills to schedule tasks and develop realistic action plans while being sensitive to time constraints and resource availability

•Intermediate statistic process, root cause, and failure analysis skills

•Basic working knowledge of Six Sigma concepts

•Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel

•Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

•This is an entry-level position

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

•At least 1 year of Quality Assurance experience implementing and maintaining quality improvement plans in a manufacturing environment preferred

•At least 1 year of experience in international manufacturing preferred

•Current or previous successful employment experience with Pride Mobility Products Corporation preferred

REQUIRED EDUCATION

•Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field

PREFERRED EDUCATION

•Six Sigma certification preferred

•American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certification for Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

•Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now, or in the future
