Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail‑oriented and motivated Entry-Level Quality Control Technician to join our team in a fast‑paced PCB (Printed Circuit Board) contract manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for individuals who are technically inclined, eager to learn, and committed to supporting high‑quality production standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform visual inspection of printed circuit boards using microscopes, magnifiers, and AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) systems.
  • Verify compliance with IPC standards, work instructions, drawings, and customer specifications.
  • Inspect solder joints, component placement, polarity, labeling, and overall assembly quality.
  • Document inspection results, non conformances, and rework requirements accurately and clearly.
  • Assist in incoming inspection of raw materials, components, and PCBs as needed.
  • Support final inspection and functional checks prior to shipment.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and QA teams to communicate defects and process issues.
  • Maintain inspection equipment and ensure calibration requirements are met.
  • Follow established procedures for handling ESD‑sensitive components and materials.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
Required:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify visual defects.
  • Basic understanding of electronics or mechanical inspection principles (training provided).
  • Ability to read and understand work instructions, quality standards, and simple technical drawings.
  • Comfortable working with microscopes and inspection tools.
  • Good communication skills and a willingness to ask questions or raise concerns.
