Your Mission
The Quality Engineer I will monitor and improve the quality of the operational processes and outputs. Assist with implementing effective quality controls to achieve goals for a strategic/long term quality planning.
How you will make a difference
  • Review and update current procedures and work instructions for all departments along with any special processes that would contribute to the quality of a completed part and/or assembly. Assist with writing a new procedures/work instruction as needed.
  • Identify the root cause and/or corrective action implementation/ effectiveness verification (create training material for operators to eliminate the non-conforming event in the future)
  • Assisting with investigating and troubleshooting product or production issues. Use methodologies of problem solving (5 Ways, 8D, root cause analysis, etc.).
  • Assisting with developing and implementing quality systems in accordance with ISO 9001:2015
  • Inspecting and testing materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met.
  • Developing and implementing quality standards of all product line(s) including valve assembly and/or failures that may occur.
  • Manage supplier/customer quality through SAP return module
  • Support sale order special requests including testing measurement and documentation (CofC, lift test, MTR's, etc.)

What you should be good at
  • Bachelor's degree in quality engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent and/or 3-5 years quality experience
  • Experience with ERP/ SAP Platform
  • Expereince with coordination with ISO 9001 Quality Program documentation

  • Oral Communication - Listens and gets clarification; Responds well to questions.
