Inventory Control Coordinator


Full-Time | Hourly
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
Pay: $20.00–$24.00 per hour (DOE)

Job Summary

The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory while supporting shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations. This role ensures materials are received, stored, and shipped accurately and efficiently while supporting production and customer needs.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Organize warehouse inventory and follow FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.
  • Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities and documentation, and prepare materials for inspection.
  • Prepare customer shipments and ensure shipping paperwork is accurate.
  • Issue inventory to production and maintain packaging and warehouse supply levels.
  • Maintain a clean, organized warehouse using 6S principles.
  • Assist with identifying slow-moving inventory and support continuous improvement efforts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least one year of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory control.
  • Medical device or plastic injection molding experience is a plus.
  • Forklift certification preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and computer skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work, communicate effectively, and work well in a team environment.


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the workday.
  • Ability to work safely in a warehouse and manufacturing environment.
