Cascade Engineering Technologies- CMM Operator / Quality Inspector

Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour

Job Type: Full-time Day, Swing, or Graveyard

We specialize in metrology-based machining of Ti and Inconel based castings, Inconel forgings and aluminum plate serving both commercial and defense sectors globally. With a commitment to excellence and safety, we are seeking a highly skilled Operator to join our team and uphold the highest standards of quality assurance in all our operations.

Job Overview:

This person is detail oriented to certify and inspect aerospace product to customer requirements. Expected to be able to use various inspection tools during these tasks. This will include the use of Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Both manual and visual inspection of aerospace product using customer provided engineering requirements.
  • Operation of a variety of CMM machines.
  • Use of hand tool for inspections. Such as Micrometer, Calipers, Pin gage, Depth Gage, Inspection Fixtures, etc
  • Verification of Supplier Certification to ensure they meet supplied engineering.
  • Acceptance of product.
  • Document inspection using Microsoft products.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years in quality position or equivalent preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • Ability to use basic inspection tools such as micrometer, calipers, pin gage, depth gage etc
  • Ability to read GD&T
  • Team oriented
  • Good communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • May be required to lift up to 50lbs
