Job description

Provide support for Mac system power validation and software development quality assurance efforts including:
• Collecting and analyzing power test results on Mac platforms.
• Reproducing reported issues with existing tests.
• Identifying and isolating issues using debugging and data analysis skills.
• Filing detailed bugs and communicating identified issues.
• Setting up and maintaining Mac systems on testing racks.
• Maintaining lab test equipment and infrastructure as requested by the team.
• Prioritizing tasks and communicating status regularly to the team.
• On-going documentation of test processes for future reference.:
• Making minor updates to the testing platform codebase.
• Proposing new testing methodologies to support Mac power validation.
Must-Have Skills
• BS in EE or Computer Science
• Organized
• Troubleshooting
• Strong familiarity with MacOS and comfort working with command line tools
• Basic competency in object oriented programming (Swift, Python preferred)
Preferred Skills
• Experience in testing HW
• Understanding of computer architecture, EE fundamentals, and concepts of power consumption and power management
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies
• Adjust to a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
