D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Purchasing Assistantfor their Land Development Department. The right candidate will assist the Land Development Purchasing Agent and Department in the following areas:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Pre-qualify prospective bidders
  • Prepare Bid Forms
  • Solicit Multiple Bids
  • Updating projects and vendor lists
  • Prepare all purchasing documents for contracts, change orders, and purchase orders
  • Maintain Bid and Change Order log
  • Resolve Contract and AP issues
  • Ability to read plans
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Create and maintain contract files
  • Intermediate computer skills in JDE, MS Excel, MS Project, MS Word and Adobe Acrobat
  • Highest level of accuracy
