Job description

We are hiring a Receiving/Supply Clerk to handle and count our daily deliveries and organize our supply room. We need a fast worker who is good with tracking details. Must be well organized and able to interact with both staff and external contacts (at all levels and sometimes under pressure).
Key Responsibilities
  • Receives all incoming supplies.
  • Makes sure delivered items match the original purchase order.
  • Checks items to ensure nothing is broken or missing.
  • Documents and inventories incoming products.
  • Delivers and stocks inventory on units. Monitors inventory supplies by walking units to determine needs.
  • Maintains in stock items required for the facility and re-orders when necessary. Ensures stock is available for emergency needs.
  • Implements and maintains inventory control and keeps updated reports.
  • Manages relationships with key suppliers to maintain quality of goods, timely delivery, and compliance to terms of contract.
  • Schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:30am - 4:00pm

Requirements
  • High school degree or equivalent required
  • Entry level - six (6) months experience as a Receiving/Supply Clerk preferred
  • Ability to lift heavy boxes and stand for long periods of time.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding organizational skills and record keeping
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong team-building and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop professional relationships with staff in order to maintain communications
  • Ability to be flexible, resourceful, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines
