• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health concerns, creating detailed clinical diagnoses and treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
• Provide crisis intervention services and support to clients facing acute mental health challenges, ensuring prompt and effective care.
• Maintain comprehensive and confidential client records, including progress notes and assessment outcomes, while adhering to both ethical guidelines and legal standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary health professionals, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to provide holistic, integrated care solutions to clients.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources available to support their journey.
• Engage in continuous professional development through training, workshops, and self-learning to stay updated with the latest practices in mental health therapy.

Your primary focus will be on diverse populations seeking counseling services at our community health clinic. Clients may include individuals facing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and various other mental health challenges. This role also necessitates a culturally competent approach, understanding and respecting the unique backstories and experiences that clients bring to each session.

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist with one of the following credentials: LMFT, LMHC, LCSW.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related field.
• Proven clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with the ability to formulate effective treatment plans.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a mental health setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Commitment to ethical practice and maintaining high professional standards in all interactions.

• Experience in a community health setting, particularly with underserved populations.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for maintaining client documentation.
• Previous experience in crisis intervention or with trauma-informed care practices is highly regarded.
