Looking for a short evening shift that fits around your life? WSI Trash & Recycling Valet is hiring Part-Time Valet Porters in the Herriman area. Shifts run 1-2 hours per evening, Monday through Friday - starting around 6:30 or 7:00 PM. No experience required. Training provided.

Competitive pay. $20/hr at standard sites, $25/hr at sites that require a personal open-bed pickup truck.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Each evening you'll walk your assigned apartment community and collect bagged trash, recycling, and cardboard from residents' doors, then transport everything to the onsite dumpster, chute, or compactor. You'll separate recycling, check for contamination, and clean up any loose trash around common areas. Check-in and check-out happens through a mobile app - you'll document your route, upload photos, and leave courtesy notices when needed. On occasion you may assist with pet waste station servicing.
SCHEDULE
Monday through Friday evenings only. Typical start time is 6:30 or 7:00 PM with shifts lasting 1-2 hours. Shift length may vary slightly based on resident participation, property size, or seasonal factors. No weekends required.
PAY
$20/hour at standard sites. $25/hour at sites that require use of a personal open-bed pickup truck.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This role involves extensive walking throughout apartment communities, ascending and descending stairs at some properties, lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
WHAT YOU NEED
An open-bed pickup truck is required for this position.

You must be 18 or older with a valid Utah driver's license and auto insurance. A smartphone with an active data plan and location services is required, as is the ability to speak, read, and write in English. You should be reliable, professional, and self-motivated. A personal open-bed pickup truck is required at select sites - pay increases to $25/hr at those locations.
No experience? No problem. We train everyone. If you show up and do the work, you'll succeed here.
