Cost Plus Appliance & Design is an independent appliance retailer serving Casper and Cody, Wyoming. We are not a big box store. Our team works closely with homeowners, general contractors, and property managers to design and deliver curated appliance packages for new construction and renovation projects. We also operate a cabinet design division and an in-house appliance repair department, making us a comprehensive resource for our clients throughout the life of their home.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented, motivated Appliance Sales Consultant to join our Casper showroom. This is a consultative sales role — not a transactional one. You will guide clients through the appliance selection process, build lasting professional relationships, and manage multiple active projects at once. What You'll Do

•    Sell individual appliances and complete kitchen and laundry packages tailored to each client's needs and budget

•    Build and maintain professional relationships with homeowners, general contractors, and property managers

•    Collaborate with construction and renovation clients on appliance specifications, sizing, utility requirements, and cabinet coordination

•    Manage multiple active projects simultaneously, providing clear and timely communication throughout the sales and construction process

•    Enter and maintain accurate orders in our Point of Sale system — correct models, pricing, accessories, and delivery details

•    Serve as the client's primary point of contact from initial sale through final installation

•    Maintain a clean, organized, and well-presented showroom floor

What We're Looking For

•    2 or more years of sales experience, preferably in a consultative or project-based environment

•    Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities without error

•    Strong written and verbal communication skills

•    Proficiency with Windows 11, Google Suite (Gmail and Google Calendar), Microsoft Office, and general internet safety practices

•    Experience in residential construction, building trades, or a related field is a plus — but we will train the right person

•    A professional, client-first attitude and a genuine desire to do the job right
