About the Role:

As a Property Manager, you will perform the crucial role of overseeing the daily operations of our communities, ensuring exceptional service to current and prospective tenants through effective management practices. Your role involves managing lease agreements, coordinating building inspections, and ensuring compliance with housing regulations and Fair Housing laws. You will lead your property management team, implement budgets and conduct financial reporting. You will contribute to the overall success and reputation of our company by providing exceptional service, maintaining high occupancy rates, and ensuring the profitability of the property.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in property management or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of affordable housing regulations and Fair Housing laws.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively present information and negotiate lease terms.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Certification as a Property Manager (e.g., CPM, CAM) or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with Yardi and other property management software.
  • Advanced knowledge of legal documents related to real estate leasing.
  • Experience working with diverse tenant populations and multi-site property portfolios.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the property, ensuring it is well-maintained and compliant with all regulations.
  • Manage lease agreements, including renewals, terminations, and tenant communications.
  • Conduct regular building inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Utilize Yardi for tracking tenant information, rent collections, and financial reporting.
  • Maintain accurate notes and follow-up activity in the CRM/property management system.
