Job description

Social Media Manager & Content Producer

Tomy Rivero Beauty Companies
Washington Heights, Manhattan, NY
Full-Time | In-Person

About Us

Tomy Rivero Beauty Companies is a fast-growing collection of beauty, wellness, hospitality, and lifestyle brands based in Uptown Manhattan. Our portfolio includes Tomy Rivero Beauty Lab, Tomy Rivero Beauty Café, and other founder-led ventures focused on beauty, community, and elevated experiences.

We are looking for an experienced Social Media Manager & Content Producer who understands how to turn attention into actual business. This is not a position for someone who simply posts content—we are looking for someone who can help drive bookings, sales, brand awareness, and audience growth across multiple brands and platforms.

If you're the type of person who sees a room, a product, or a story and immediately starts imagining content ideas, camera angles, hooks, and ways to make it go viral while generating revenue, we want to meet you.

The Role

This is a full-time, in-house position based out of our Washington Heights office. This is not a remote position and is not suitable for freelancers or agencies looking to take on a client.

You will work directly with founder and Creative Director Tomy Rivero to develop content concepts, scripts, campaigns, visual storytelling, and growth strategies across all company brands and the founder's personal platforms.

Some days will be spent in the office planning and editing. Other days will require being in our businesses capturing content, documenting events, filming clients, creating social media assets, and producing content in real time.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute social media strategies across multiple brands and platforms
  • Create content that converts viewers into clients, customers, and loyal followers
  • Plan monthly content calendars and campaign rollouts
  • Film, photograph, edit, and publish content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and emerging platforms
  • Collaborate directly with the founder on content concepts, scripts, storytelling, and brand initiatives
  • Create and manage content funnels that support business growth
  • Analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies based on results
  • Produce short-form video content from concept through final edit
  • Capture behind-the-scenes content, events, launches, client experiences, and brand moments
  • Assist with creative direction, set design, prop sourcing, and production planning
  • Stay current on social media trends while maintaining a polished and elevated brand image
  • Manage multiple social media accounts and ensure consistent brand voice and messaging

Qualifications

  • Proven track record growing social media accounts and generating measurable business results
  • Minimum 2+ years of professional social media management and content production experience
  • Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and content marketing
  • Excellent video shooting and editing skills
  • Strong photography skills for social media and marketing purposes
  • Experience using professional editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, Photoshop, Lightroom, or similar tools
  • Ability to create compelling short-form content that drives engagement and conversions
  • Strong copywriting and storytelling skills
  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Comfortable being part of a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
  • Interest in beauty, cosmetics, wellness, hospitality, luxury brands, or lifestyle content is required

Portfolio Requirements

Applicants must submit:

  • Portfolio of videos they personally filmed and edited
  • Examples of photography they personally shot and edited
  • Social media accounts they have managed
  • Examples of campaigns that generated measurable growth, engagement, bookings, leads, or sales

Travel Requirements

  • Must be available for occasional travel within the United States
  • Must be comfortable capturing content on location for events, brand activations, collaborations, and company initiatives

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a creator who understands both creativity and business.

Someone who can identify trends, build systems, create beautiful content, tell compelling stories, and most importantly—help convert attention into customers.

If you're excited by beauty, entrepreneurship, content creation, personal branding, and building something meaningful from the inside out, we'd love to hear from you.

To Apply

Please submit your resume, portfolio, links to social media accounts you've managed, and a brief note explaining why you'd be a great fit for this role.
