Position Overview: Community Ed Summer Theater Prop Designer

Job Description:
The Prop Designer is responsible for the design, sourcing, and construction of all "hand-held" and decorative items that bring a production's world to life. From the letter a lead actor reads to the vintage furniture on stage, the Props Designer ensures every item is historically accurate, functionally safe, and aesthetically aligned with the Director's vision.
Every person who will work with any theater production, whether a current employee or other, must apply AND complete ALL necessary steps set by HR PRIOR to working. No Work until HR has given an approved start date.
