Toll Brothers, America's leading luxury home builder, is seeking a Employee Relations Manager to join our Human Resources team in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania.
What is the opportunity?
The Employee Relations (ER) Manager is responsible for facilitation and management of employee relations for designated regions and departments. They will oversee several functional areas including: employee relations, performance management, off-boarding, company compliance, and fostering positive employee relations.
What are the primary responsibilities?
  • Builds partnerships with all levels of employees from individuals to teams, from entry-level to executive leadership
  • Coaches and advises staff on solving problems and implementing resolutions for performance management challenges; provides guidance on corrective actions, corporate policy interpretation, and other workplace human resources challenges
  • Provides guidance, coaching and support to managers on employee relations matters, conflict resolution and offboarding.
  • Presents and trains on HR-related content and curriculum - either through corporate instruction-led trainings, small group facilitated dialogues, or through one-on-one mentoring sessions
  • Advises on employment actions to ensure legal compliance with applicable regulations, and provides guidance on policies, procedures, and compliance
  • Conducts investigations and maintains thorough documentation of workplace complaints and allegations such as discrimination, harassment, retaliation, hostile work environment, and policy violations; provides recommendations for appropriate resolution based on findings.
  • Assists in the development of new HR initiatives and projects as needed.

Do you have these qualifications?
  • Essential:
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
    • 8+ years working professionally in Human Resources or a related role
    • Demonstrated ability to handle high level, serious, and complex employee relations matters
    • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to efficiently utilize HRIS & HR related applications
    • Work in office 3-days per week. Additional in office days may vary per Division/Department
  • Preferred:
    • Experience with Workday and Case IQ Case Management
