Job description

M3 Staffing is seeking reliable, safety-focused Intermediate First Aid (OFA 2/First Aid Level 2) and Advanced First Aid (OFA 3/First Aid Level 3) professionals to support various construction and industrial projects across Lower Mainland. This role involves providing responsive, on-site medical assistance to ensure workplace safety and compliance on projects ranging from high-rise developments to residential builds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide immediate on-site medical care, including responding to injuries and assessing medical needs in emergencies
  • Evaluate and monitor injured workers, documenting symptoms and treatment details accurately
  • Maintain a clean and organized first aid area with readily available medical supplies and equipment
  • Communicate with site supervisors regarding health and safety conditions on-site
  • Act as a liaison with emergency services if escalation of care is necessary
  • Support site safety protocols and compliance with WorkSafe BC and OH&S standards
  • Complete incident reports and other required documentation accurately and promptly
  • Additional duties may be assigned based on project needs


Requirements:

  • Intermediate First Aid and/or Advanced First Aid certification
  • Thorough understanding of health and safety protocols in industrial and construction settings
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for documenting and reporting incidents
  • Ability to work independently and respond effectively under pressure
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) for record-keeping and reporting
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work across multiple locations as needed
  • CSA-approved steel-toed boots and other required PPE
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada (work permits accepted)


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in high-rise, residential, or industrial construction environments
  • Valid driver’s license is an asset
  • Additional health and safety certifications are valued but not mandatory
  • Both experienced and entry-level applicants are welcome!
