Job description

S&O Construction Services, Inc. is looking for a project manager (PM) to join this business of 38+ years located in Pleasant Valley NY. Potential candidates will have at least 2-3 years of experience in some capacity within the construction industry. Experience in HVAC and/or plumbing construction, as well as public works projects in New York State, would be a plus but not required. An entry level project manager would be considered dependent on past work experience.

Salary is commensurate with experience.

This project manager position will report to the Senior Project Manager and will oversee multiple jobs simultaneously. The hired individual would be expected to work closely with office, warehouse, fabrication shop and field staff. The PM should also be well versed in office and computer functions, have good communication skills, and exhibit top tier professionalism within the industry. Candidates must have a clean driving license.

Expectations:

- Construction management of all assigned projects

- Attend all assigned project meetings

- Maintain correspondence on a regular basis

- Prepare/oversee job schedules, submittals, change orders, files, information

- Perform buyout of materials and submit purchase orders to vendors

- Coordinate with all subcontractors under assigned projects

- Ensure safety standards are met daily

- Potential requirement of a job site office location for duration of project(s)
