Job description

Northedge, LLC is a leading commercial drywall and metal framing subcontractor servicing North Carolina and Virginia. We are a values-driven team that takes pride in our integrity, precision, and hands-on collaboration. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an Entry-Level Project Accountant eager to learn, grow, and support both financial accuracy and communication flow within our projects.

What You Will Be Doing

As an Entry-Level Project Accountant, you will serve as a vital support to our Accounting and Project Management teams. You'll learn the full project accounting cycle while assisting with billing, compliance, and day-to-day financial tasks that keep projects moving smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and billing processes

Help with project setup, compliance documents, and maintaining accurate financial records

Support monthly reporting and project cost tracking

Process vendor invoices and expense reports with accuracy and timeliness Assist with lien waivers, insurance certificates, and other compliance paperwork

Provide communication and documentation support between the Accounting and Project Management teams

Learn and apply construction-specific financial processes, including AIA billing

What You Need to Bring

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business. or related field(or equivalent experience/education)

Internship or 0-2 years of accounting/finance experience (construction industry exposure a plus)

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; willingness to learn ERP/accounting systems Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to manage recurring cycles and deadlines Strong communication and teamwork skills
