What you'll be able to do:

We are seeking Construction Office Engineer with computer skills and knowledge of construction projects for positions in Rochester and surrounding area, Monroe County, to start immediately. Office Engineer will enter Contractor payments and process estimates, check inspector calculations for payments and ensure that payments are being made correctly in accordance with specifications, complete job progress meeting minutes and distribute, track project material certifications, and maintain project documents.

Position: Full time

Hours: Work same as Contractor's hours, typically 7:00am-3:30pm.

The minimum requirements we seek:

  • NICET III certification or equivalent experience.
  • Prior New York State DOT and/or New York State Thruway inspection experience.
  • Proficiency in computer aided project administration is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred.
