About the Role:
O'Brien Construction is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the successful execution of construction projects, from pre-construction to final completion. You will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and Estimators to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules, budgets, and plans.
  • Manage document control, including submittals, RFIs, and meeting minutes.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure timely material deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Assist with estimating extra work, preparing correspondence, and expediting project tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Proactively identify and resolve project challenges.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
  • Participate in the Job Rotation Program to gain valuable experience in various construction disciplines (Assistant Superintendent, Assistant Estimator, Assistant Project Manager).
