Job description

Haycon Construction is a Boston-based builder with a focus on energy savings, and reducing embodied carbon emissions, Our pipeline of Deep Energy RetroFit and Passive House projects is growing, and we have an immediate opportunity on our Project Management team!
Our reputation as a local industry-leader in sustainable, Passive House residential construction has increased demand for our Deep Energy RetroFit and Occupied Rehab services. This rapidly-growing sector presents an excellent career trajectory for a Project Manager to help lead one or more projects for us. You'll get to work on all aspects of the project lifecycle - from estimating through completion!
Duties will include but not be limited to:
  • Work closely with project stakeholders including client representatives
  • Draft subcontracts and purchase orders.
  • Build submittal log in Procore from specifications and drawings.
  • Produce and submit packages and return reviewed submittals to subcontractors.
  • Enter and maintain RFI's.
  • Complete quantity takeoffs using Bluebeam
  • Assist Senior PM with sourcing, pricing, purchasing materials online.
  • Manage inventory and distribution of fixtures & finishes, etc.
  • Request, receive, upload subcontractor Certificates of Insurance. Maintain Procore tracking.
  • Use Total Station for accurate site measurements

Skills/Experience Required:
  • Experience in sustainable construction, with DER or Occupied Rehab experience strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Experience with Total Station a plus
  • Engineering degree highly preferred
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications
