Job Summary:
ASR International Corp is looking for an entry-level Engineering Professional/Technical Writer to support ASRโ€™s Government Proposal team. The role involves developing detailed cost and pricing proposals in response to Department of Defense and other federal agencies requests for bids and proposals.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข You will be Responsible for the Bid/Proposal Process, researching the requirements to put together a full gap-analysis understanding of the requirements leveraging your engineering background.
โ€ข You must have a strong background in reading requirements, researching and understanding engineering technical requirements, and applying engineering understanding to understand truly what is required.
โ€ข Collaborate across departments to develop proposals to be presented to senior leadership.
โ€ข Proposal compliance review.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Must have a Bachelors in Engineering at a minimum.
โ€ข Must have strong MS Office capabilities, to include MS Word, and MS Excel, to author documents.
โ€ข Independent Work ethic, ability to work with minimal direction (after training)
โ€ข Excellent verbal and written communication skills to successfully interact within all levels of the corporation.
โ€ข Ability to work on multiple projects and initiatives concurrently.
โ€ข US Citizen/Green Card holder
Preferred:
โ€ข Masters preferred.
โ€ข Knowledge of Government/ DoD contracting and current acquisition trends. Firm understanding of Government contracting, DoD acquisitions and the FAR for the professional services industry is desirable.
โ€ข Relevant Federal Acquisition work experience, technical writing and pricing analysis experience is desirable.
