Precise Systems seeks an entry-level VLS Support Analyst to support the Vertical Launch System (VLS) In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) Surface Launching Systems department at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD). The position will consist of serving as a member VLS ISEA Team providing all facets of project and program analysis and ensuring that all goals and timelines of the various missions are successfully achieved.
This role requires in-person support
Duties:
  • Create and maintain manufacturing contract specific inventory tracker for managing VLS deliveries and shipments
  • Utilize the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Action Item Tracking Database to assist with development, tracking, and closure of VLS related action items
  • Support planning and execution of USN and FMS Fleet conferences and events, including preparations of daily agendas, training discussions, splinter meetings, and feedback discussions
  • Assist in the preparation and consolidation of presentation material in support of Program Reviews, Mid-Year & End-of-Year Financial Reviews, Fleet Conferences, and various VLS related program or project reviews
  • Utilize PHD's Procurement Request Tool (PRT) to complete the purchase process of parts for both USN and FMS customers
  • Utilize Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) for Warehouse Movement Forms to pull items from warehouse inventory as needed for designated projects
  • Provide technical and logistics related support for Ship's Maintenance Action Forms 2-KILO's by working with the logistics managers and fleet customers to provide required parts
  • Utilize SAVORS to place requisitions for parts movements and shipments for special projects and fleet support
  • Utilize various sources to track and search for parts inventories as required, including decommissioned (DECOM) inventories

Required Experience:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • High degree of self-motivation
  • Ability to learn quickly and work independently
  • Self-starter willing to work in a team environment

Required Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Community College associate degree is a plus

Other Requirements:
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
  • Able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
  • Valid driver's license for possible CONUS travel.
  • Current U.S. passport for possible OCONUS travel.

Compensation at Precise Systems is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, competencies, and contract-specific requirements. The salary range for this position is $56,419.00 - $75,993.00 (annualized USD). This range represents the standard pay for this role and is just one component of Precise Systems' total compensation package.
