LABORER/ENTRY LEVEL OPERATOR - $23.87 Starting, 15 Days Paid Time Off, Benefits Day 1

MARTIN MARIETTA MAGNESIA SPECIALTIES, LLC, Manistee Plant, is seeking candidates for Laborer/Entry Level Operator positions.  This job is a combination of manual work, equipment operation, use of computers for data entry, and general plant labor work.  Responsible for the process of packaging, palletizing, wrapping, marking and loading products into railcars and trucks.  Operate forklift to move packaged product, load and unload trucks, railcars, and overseas containers.  Assist Control Room Operators with the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of process equipment.  Perform routine equipment, process, and sample checks.  Observe all safety rules and maintain good housekeeping in work areas.  Qualified candidate criteria: Minimum 18 yrs. of age, high school graduate, able to lift 55 lbs., work rotating shifts, and be capable of moving into positions with decision-making responsibility.  Looking for a team player that possesses strong work ethic, solid integrity, and reliability.  Must pass pre-employment physical and drug test, background check, and WorkKeys skills test.  Wage starting at $23.87/hr with 6 month progressive wage increases, as well as a competitive benefits package, including 401k and pension.  Apply online at www.martinmarietta.com/careers.
