Responsibilities: In accordance with MSHA and Company standards, take a proactive role in prioritizing safety on the job for yourself and others. Operate off road heavy equipment including haul trucks, loaders, excavators, dozers, to mine and move material and maintain haul roads Conduct pre and post-operation inspections of equipment and perform routine maintenance and minor repairs as needed to ensure equipment is in good working condition. Complete reports/documentation as required.

Experience is use of hand/power tools for basic maintenance Welding experience is a plus Ability to work in physically demanding environments and in various weather conditions. Physical Requirements: Work up to 12 hour shift - Monday through Friday, some Saturdays Will climb and maintain balance on steel/wood framework, equipment, stairs, ladders, etc. Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis Must be able to comply will all safety standards and procedures May reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basis May stoop, kneel, or bend on an occasional basis Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) (including but not limited to hard hat, steel toed boots, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, etc.) Move in and around confined, cluttered and uneven areas This list is not all inclusive
