Job description

Medical Device Assembler

Location: Temecula, CA
Employment Type: Full-Time / Contract
Pay Rate: $19.25- $23.33

Role Overview

BEPC is seeking dependable and detail-oriented Medical Device Assemblers to support our client’s manufacturing operations in a regulated cleanroom environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with hands-on manufacturing experience who are comfortable performing precise assembly work, using microscopes and hand tools, and following detailed procedures. Previous medical device manufacturing experience is a plus but is not required.

Three shifts are available. Candidates may select from available shifts; however, all new hires must be available to complete approximately 4–6 weeks of training on the morning shift.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble medical device components according to established manufacturing procedures and quality requirements.
  • Perform detailed assembly work using microscopes and hand tools.
  • Follow written policies, procedures, work instructions, and safety requirements.
  • Read, understand, and accurately interpret manufacturing information and instructions.
  • Handle and manipulate small components and materials with precision.
  • Perform basic mathematical calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Wear required PPE and follow all cleanroom protocols.
  • Maintain quality, accuracy, and attention to detail throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Work effectively in a highly regulated production environment.

Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 6 months of manufacturing experience.
  • Stable work history with demonstrated reliability in previous positions.
  • Medical device manufacturing or assembly experience is a plus but is not required.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Proficiency in English for speaking, reading, writing, understanding work instructions, and participating in instructor-led training.
  • Comfortable working with microscopes and performing detailed assembly tasks.
  • Ability to use hand tools and handle small components.
  • Ability to follow established policies, procedures, and manufacturing instructions.
  • Ability to pass a required eye exam and color vision test.
  • Must have close and distance visual acuity, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to sit, walk, or stand for up to 10 hours per day.
  • Ability to intermittently crawl, squat, climb, twist, bend, stoop, push, and pull.
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing less than 50 pounds.

Please note: This opportunity is specifically seeking candidates with hands-on manufacturing experience. Warehouse-only backgrounds, including positions primarily focused on forklift operation, material handling, or order fulfillment, may not meet the manufacturing experience requirement of 6 months.

Contract Details

  • Location: Temecula, CA
  • Shift Availability: Three shifts available.
  • Training: Candidates selected for any shift must be available for approximately 4–6 weeks of morning-shift training.
  • Interview Availability: Candidates must be able to attend a 3-hour IN PERSON interview session from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM on designated Wednesdays, held every other week.
  • Work Environment: Cleanroom manufacturing environment requiring appropriate PPE.
  • Availability: During the initial screening process, candidates should disclose any upcoming vacations, planned absences, or scheduled days off that could affect training or their start date.
  • Contract: 1 YEAR (with possibility of extension)
