We are looking for a self-motivated, data driven chemist to join our research and development team. The candidate should have a strong desire for problem solving as well as a strong background in analytical chemistry, laboratory sciences, and electrochemical methods, with experience in product development, quality control, and manufacturing processes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to scientific research and the advancement of cutting-edge products within an automotive environment that adheres to ISO 9001 standards.Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation including ICP-OES, FTIR, TGA and other analytical equipment.Develop, optimize, and validate analytical methods for product testing and quality assurance.Conduct scientific research and design experiments utilizing techniques such as spectroscopy, chromatography (gas chromatography and high-performance liquid chromatography), and wet chemistry methods.Manage laboratory data using Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) to ensure accuracy and compliance.Support product development initiatives by designing experiments, analyzing results, and providing technical insights.Perform routine quality control tests to ensure products meet regulatory standards and specifications.Collaborate with manufacturing, product development and Material teams to troubleshoot process issues and improve product durability.Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), CGMP, and ISO 9001 standards during all laboratory activities.Document experimental procedures, results, and conclusions clearly in technical reports.Stay updated on advancements in analytical techniques such as spectroscopy, chromatography, and related fields.Confidently and clearly present conclusion and recommendations to a diverse audience
Requirements:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related scientific discipline.Proven laboratory experience in analytical chemistry, wet chemistry, biochemistry, or related areas within manufacturing or quality control environments.Strong knowledge of GLP, CGMP, ISO 9001 standards, and laboratory safety protocols.Familiarity with scientific research methodologies and product development processes.Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in experimental design and data analysis.Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication skills for documenting findings and collaborating across departments.
