Position Overview

Spectra Tech, Inc. is seeking a Junior Financial Analyst-Entry Level to support Accounting, Finance, IT, and business leadership teams by providing accurate financial information, reporting, and analysis. This position will assist in driving business profitability, streamlining processes, supporting financial planning activities, and implementing best practices across the organization.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career finance professional looking to gain broad exposure to financial analysis, budgeting, reporting, cost accounting, and business operations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Support the preparation and development of financial statements
  • Collaborate with leadership and finance teams to understand key variance drivers, project impacts on financial forecasts, and communicate supporting narratives
  • Provide financial decision support to the finance team
  • Analyze accounts, sales, production, and other operational data
  • Assist with reconciliation of:
    • Cash disbursement accounts
    • Payroll accounts
    • Customer accounts
    • Other financial accounts
  • Support annual audits by gathering account information and required documentation for external auditors
  • Assist with:
    • Cost accounting analysis
    • Manufacturing variance analysis
    • Bank compliance reporting
  • Allocate expenditures to appropriate accounts according to company procedures
  • Prepare and manage daily reporting activities
  • Support KPI reporting and analysis
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analyses
  • Assist with:
    • Financial planning
    • Budgeting
    • Forecasting
  • Support automation initiatives and projects involving Artificial Intelligence (AI)
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in:
    • Accounting
    • Finance
  • 0-1 year of Finance experience required.

OR

  • Bachelor's degree with coursework through Intermediate Accounting
Experience Requirements
