Location: Irvine, CA

Experience: 6 Months to 3 Years

Job Description

We are looking for an entry-level Mechanical Engineer – Lighting with 6 months to 3 years of experience in mechanical design, product development, or automotive lighting.

Key Requirements

  • 6 months to 3 years of Mechanical Engineering experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience or knowledge of automotive exterior lighting components is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of headlamps, tail lamps, or exterior lighting systems.
  • Experience with CAD tools such as CATIA, Creo, NX, or SolidWorks.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical design, engineering drawings, and GD&T.
  • Knowledge of product development and manufacturing processes.
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support the mechanical design and development of automotive lighting components.
  • Create and update 3D CAD models and engineering drawings.
  • Assist with design reviews, prototype builds, testing, and validation.
  • Support engineering changes and issue resolution.
  • Work with senior engineers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Assist with the development and validation of lighting components and assemblies.
