Salary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and self-motivated Quality Technician with the technical expertise of a Quality CAD Technician. This role plays a key part in ensuring all products meet rigorous quality and dimensional standards throughout the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have experience interpreting blueprints, working with stainless steel and aluminum, and thriving in a fast-paced production environment.


Key Responsibilities:

    • Inspect raw materials, in-process components, weldments, and finished products for accuracy and compliance with specifications.
    • Read, interpret, and analyze engineering drawings and blueprints to validate product quality and adherence to design requirements.
    • Use a variety of precision instruments and measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and CMMs to ensure dimensional accuracy.
    • Perform detailed CAD reviews and assist with drawing updates or revisions to support continuous improvement and quality control initiatives.
    • Conduct root cause analysis and support corrective and preventive actions for non-conforming materials or processes.
    • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Production, and Fabrication teams to resolve quality issues and enhance manufacturing processes.
    • Maintain accurate quality records, inspection reports, and documentation required for internal and external audits.
    • Support the development and implementation of quality control plans, procedures, and work instructions.
    • Participate in cross-functional improvement projects to streamline inspection processes and enhance product reliability.
    • Train production team members on quality standards, blueprint reading, and measurement techniques.

Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree or higher in Quality Assurance, Mechanical Design, or related technical field preferred.
