Job Purpose

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inputting, updating, and maintaining accurate data into our systems. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers and has strong organizational skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Assists with reconciling credit cardย statements and other financial records to ensure accuracy
  • Accurately enter financial data such as transactions, invoices, receipts, and payments into accounting software and spreadsheets
  • Assists the finance and accountingย department to access, manipulate, and present information in a professional setting
  • Ensure that financial records are complete, accurate, and up to date
  • Verifiesย that data entries match supporting documents like invoices, receipts, and bank statements
  • Creates and updatesย spreadsheets using Excel
  • Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Provides other general clerical support as needed

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate profile includes:

  • Proven experience in data entry or administrative role preferred
  • Experience utilizing platforms such as NetSuite, Sage, or QuickBooks preferred but not required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
  • Use of formulas (SUM, AVERAGE, MIN, MAX)
