Job Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Production Manager
Shift: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday
Overview:
A well established, screen printing and embroidery company is seeking an experienced screen print press operator with at least two years experience on an automatic press. Please note this is for textile/garment printing, not paper printing.
Overtime and weekend hours may be required. Position available immediately.
Responsibilities:
  • High-volume production and quick turnaround time
  • Efficient setup and printing on automatic press
  • Proper dryer settings for many different ink and fabric types
  • Have a high attention to detail
  • Troubleshoot on-press issues and be able to correct them
  • Prep and burn screens using proper mesh selection
  • Stretch mesh
  • Sharpen squeegees
  • Coat and reclaim screens
  • Mix ink
  • Quality control print jobs

Pay will be based on experience.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
  • At least two years experience with automatic press
  • Ability to work on feet all day
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
  • Ability to work as a team
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, deadline oriented environment
